An intriguing, well-written story delivered with at a precise sense of pace. It doesn't get any better than this.

It may not be as technically impressive as Gears of War, but the art style, animations, and special effects create an unparalleled sense of mood and believability.

Top-notch voice acting, spectacular ambient effects, and overall some of the best sound design ever built into a game.

Superb control, intelligent enemies, and a wildly entertaining mix of weapons and plasmids.

A lengthy adventure, 20 hours or so if you don't rush it, yet there's enough variation in the gameplay to bring you back for another round.

I've looked at the reviews for this game from the press and think that there might never be a game rated this high ever again. So many perfect scores.

As far as I'm concerned this is the second generation defining game we've gotten so far.

This is the reason I can't be an owner of just one console now that I can afford to own all three.

If I didn't own a 360 when this hit I would have been pissed about missing out on it. Take that and apply it to Wii and Mario Galaxy and it works the same way.

I'm not too sure about the gun sounds, i watched a couple of video's and they seem to be way off with the sounds the guns should make. other then that it looks fun.

Are you honnestly judging a game on its gun sounds? I've fired everything up to an AR-15 and no game has ever done a bit of them justice. Is that what you really think games are about?
