Don't wry too much about it. There is prob some truth in the story, but i'm not sure if he's spinning it or just doesn't understand what SEGA did.

They are in the business of making money. PS360 was suppoed to get Sonic Unleashed & Wii was suppose to get Sonic and the Black Knight. Sega knew PS360 version was going to lose them money so they made it on PS2 & Wii as well to make it profitable. And they gave it to dimps who have experience making good 2D sonics games, why not let them try at a 3D sonic game?

So basically what happened is the Wii gets the PS360 exclusive Sonic game as well as the Wii exclusive Sonic game. So now Wii owners get 2 Sonic games instead of 1. Why are u sad?? Cheer up.

C'mon guys, just don't believe this bullcrap. Maybe the person talking is actually hired by Sega, but he definitely is nothing more than a rabid fanboy that is interpreting things he doesn't understand.

NO company in the world would ever say, oh common, let's make great games on two consoles because we prefer those and just accept that we are making a loss, and instead we are financing them with a bad Wii version. NO COMPANY. NEVER.

Also, saying that Wii is only for kids and all Sonic fans own a HD console clearly shows he is completely biased. I haven't been a Sega player myself so maybe I can't judge, but from what I see a good amount of Sega fans have turned to Nintendo now. Also, especially those that loved Sonic would definitely be best fitted at Nintendo's because Sonic is quite close to your classic Nintendo franchises.
