Yokoi is much more than just the creator of Game boy( think Metroid, Kid Icarus)

I would like to see Kazunori Yamauchi replace Molyneux on the list just because of the passion that guy has for what he does.(GT sales arent too shabby either)

You forgot Sid Meier, the most important and influential PC Strategy/Simulation Game Creator, Developer, Designer and Programmer in our galaxy. He's always included in every top 10 Game Creator list often found among the Top 5# He's been around for three decades, developing more than 33 Games!

Sid Meier should be on the list. I love civ games but they need to improve on the A.I. I know a lot of Civ 3 vets/scenario designers that hate Civ4. Civ4 did nothing to improve A.I. A.I. should be the focus of Civ5 but I doubt it will.

I still cry for Gunpei Yokoi

I agree on Sid Meier, he should have pushed out Peter Molyneux.

I agree Sid Meier should be on the list... maybe in Top 5... good to see Yokoi on the list though. He is missed.

I would have flipped 2 and 3

I respect Will but Carmack has been a greater force to the PC market and 3d engines in general.

Doom dragged the PC into the modern world as a serious gaming platform.

Still these guys may be the last of a dying breed. Big companies tend to just rip off their innovative ideas nowadays.

Also Molyneux at number 10. Give me a break. He single handedly created the God game......

Also I agree that Sid Meier is an unforgivable ommision.
