Since I was the one making the jokes, let me try to be serious and make some guesses. I looked around and found some late 2006 costs for all of the consoles. Here is what they used to be:
Wii
Graphic chip $29.60
CPU $13.00
DRAM $7.80
Optical disk drive $31.00
Power supply $11.30
Manufacturing cost $19.50
Cost total $158.30

Estimated Cost Changes Since Late 2006:
The PS3 shed the BC on the motherboard, which reportedly dropped the manunfacturing costs to $690.23. After undergoing a die shrink on the CPU and GPU, and reduction in the cost of the Blu-Ray components, costs reportedly dropped another 35% at the beginning of 2008 to $448.73. Let's give PS3 another 10% drop in costs to account for the remainder of 2008, so the PS3 today probably costs about $403.86 to manufacture with the 80 GB hard drive, and probably $25 more for the 160 GB SKU.
Since the XBox360 never shed any features, and never had the Blu-Ray drive, let's give it only a 25% drop in 2007 and another 7.5% drop in 2008, making Xbox360 cost about $224.29 today for the Pro, the Arcade is probably $25 less, and the Elite $25 more.
The Wii never underwent any die shrinks, so it probably changed the least of all 3 consoles. Let's make a wild guess and say it dropped 7.5% each year. That would put the Wii at a cool $135.45 today.
Total Boxed Cost and Profit:
The costs I estimate are probably what it takes to just manufacture the console. The cost of controller, cables, printed materials, bundled games, packaging, shipping, and retailer profit will need to be added to those to get the total cost to make up what's in the retail boxes. Let's add $60-$100 (depending on what's in the box) to each to account for all that. So here is the total box cost, and profit for each SKU as I think it is today:
PS3 80 GB - Cost $485, Price $400, Loss $85
PS3 160 GB - Cost $520, Price $500, Loss $20
XBox360 Arcade - Cost $260, Price $200, Loss $60
XBox360 Pro - Cost $305, Price $300, Loss $5
XBox360 Elite - Cost $350, Price $400, Proft $50
Wii - Cost $195, Price $250, Proft $55
