Forums - Gaming - Poll: do Ps3 and 360 fans come together to bash the wii or not?

This the first generation where fans have been so passionate about their console of choice (or at least are more know thanks to the internet) and now there is the casual and hardcore tag. Do you guys think that the majority of ps3 /360  fans call a truce when is time to bash on the non HD console, the wii or is the wii the only thing that they both agree to be good from both sides

so it goes like this:

A ) ps3/360 make peace when there is a wii ffan in the area and instead attack him.

B) ps3/360 dont attack wii fans because both agree the wii has succeded in bring more fun to the masses than both hd consoles put together.

Edit: acording to some comments there should be a C

C) nonesense, is wii60 all the way and wii and 360 fans agree on bashing the ps3

i have no idea so thats why i ask

count : A = 5 B = 2 c = 2

A= 55.5%  B= 22.2% c= 22.2%

I say A

Well mostly the comment will be like "PS3>360>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>wii" or vice versa, so i'd say A.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

It was true after E3 2008, certainly. But there has always been a shifting network of alliances, at least from my perspective. Throughout 2006 and early 2007, there was the "Wii60" mentality, that the two platforms could perfectly complement each other, and that the Wii60 owner represented the true gamer, dividing between either Wii60 or a Sony fanboy. Of course, that alliance kinda fell apart when the stark contrasts between Wii and 360 really came out, and as Wii simply pulled away to where the 360 could only hope to go.

After E3, the idea was that PS360 together formed a gamers' paradise, and that they would save the industry, while Nintendo would destroy it, but that alliance started falling apart even sooner than the Wii60 one, with Sony once again on the receiving end of a lot of scorn, but Nintendo hasn't really come out of the doghouse either, possibly indicative of a looming Sony-Nintendo alliance

Of course, it's all pointless fanboy games anyway

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

People have been vocal and passionate about the console wars since pretty much the beginning of console wars. It's just a bigger audience than back then.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Peter Moore came up with the Wii60 slogan when he worked at Microsoft. Microsoft loves Nintendo and even made several games on the NDS. It seems its Sony vs everyone and their losing. They began to think that the world revolved around them after PS1 and PS2.

im thinking a also me and a ps3 fanboy buddy of mine (im xbox all the way) came together after this nitendo fanboy said that samus could beatt cloud and master chief in a fight but i we both said that samus would get pwned

None of the answers.

There's no solid answer really, because people act so differently.

Sometimes, X360 owners use "Wii60 = 5 times of Ps3", right?

And I don't think the single-console owners who own a Ps3 or X360 use more time "bashing" the Wii than the other (Ps3 or X360, whichever they don't own) console.

What some people refer to, is "The Ps360 is still a viable choice - combined they're bigger than the Wii

And that makes sense. If the X360 died, the Ps3 would be in deep shit.

So all in all, some Ps3 (or X360) owners bash the Wii, but not more than they bash the X360 (Ps3 if X360 owner).

Everybody hates each other equally much :D

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Put me down for B.

I can only speak for myself really, and I am not going to attack another gamer for simply the choice they made as to which console they wanted to buy.

Now, if said gamer with a Wii starts offering opinions that are just wrong. Then I will ally with the poo flinger that owns this PS3 you are talking about and let him have it... jk I like you PS3 owners.

Consoles: Atari 5200, NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3

A definitly altrough i think people are attacking platform not their owners.
