the main part of the games convention with the press events and so on is from 23rd - 26th of august

prior to that there will be a developers conference (20th- 22nd) ,although I wouldn't expect many news about that event , because afaik there won't be many games presented

So far Sony is 3-0 on game conferences for the year. Hopefully Leipzig and TGS continue that trend :D

Anyone care to make any big predictions?

Two things I think there is a good chance of seeing: 8 Days and The Getaway.

These are much more likely to make a showing here than at TGS. Also, I think The Getaway is being developed by a European Sony studio...

Anyone got any predictions for any big new stuff?

i forgot about those two games...  there were a couple of other games they showed last year that they havent showed in awhile either..

The Getaway is made by SonyLondonStudio thats why the games set in London and Wipeout will be shown because its made by SonyLiverpoolStudio.I think quite a few new exclusives will be shown by Sony at GC.

That looks very impressive!

You know, the tables really have turned as far as shows like this are concerned. Sony used to be the market leader and have boring shows, while Nintendo used to be the underdog and have blow our minds every E3. Now Nintendo is in the lead, but didn't bother doing much of anything for any big event, while Sony is getting worried and really putting an effort into them.
