Hmmm Console Vs PC... Ive played online on 360... while playing halo 2 or whateva.. the reaction times are soo god dam slow Compared to Css or Cs.. i mean cs.. theres a whole split sec reaction and your dead on halo... u have like 4 secs to aim. its will be a straight out on slaughter. But it would shut a whole bunch of my friends about.. " u gotta better reaction of console" idiots

Yeah we should hold PC games back so that PS3 gamers don't get slaughtered.  While we're at it let's dumb Crysis down to half it's settings and just stop developing new graphics cards and processors altogether so that we can all marvel at the already outdated power of Cell.

You need to accept that a PC will always have the technical advantage over the PS3, and the gamers on the PC will have the advantage as well.  I seriously doubt you have played CS tournaments if you think console gamers can keep up with CS gamers, but I guess I expected this general attitude from you anyway.  I get tired of reading your  posts.

Back on topic:  I'm not saying everyone with a PS3 will automatically get killed, but I think the majority of PS3 gamers are going to find it difficult keeping up with those playing on a PC (even if they use a keyboard and mouse).  If they DO use analog, they will get slaughtered.  There isn't really an if about that.  Even bad PC FPS gamers will be able to beat a dual analog setup with a keyboard and mouse.

ummm... okay just how big is your tv anyway?. cause sitting close to a 60" would be very hard..
 and hooking it up to your monitor? isnt that a bit too much?.
its pretty hard moving around the ps3 everytime you wanna play UT3..
and even if it does work out to be just as good as PC controls if you do that, 
do you think that everyone would go thrrough the trouble of setting up their ps3 on a small monitor just for UT3..
you know i seriously tried to play on my 51" just for the fun of playing it on a bigger screen but it really is awkward.. really im not trying to bash the cross multiplayer here im just stating what i myself experienced when i tried playing KnM on a big screen. seriously  try it, and honestly tell me how it feels.

sorely mistaken, the only FPS game i have on the PC is Counter-Strike..
other games i have are Starcraft, Warcraft 3 anc CnC3, next would be Bioshock.

I'd much rather play my games only against other console gamers or only against other PC gamers. As long as this game has some sort of option to do that, then great. I still won't get it because I dislike Epic and refuse to support their products, but I just don't think it's a good idea to put console gamers up against PC gamers. They are not the same types of gamers.

Since Shadowrun isn't a smashing success of cross platform play, it's hard to tell if this will be popular or not till it comes out.

Played alot of UT on PC and it is pretty intense on LAN games but i still find a controller easier to use than keyboard and mouse for FPS's maybe i am weird but we will see when i get UT3 and i go online, mixed and if the leaderboards are full of PC players and i am strugling to keep up with them then out comes keyboard and mouse with finetuned FPS settings until i get slaughtered by K&M players i will stand firm by my trusty DualAnallog/Sixaxis that has been great for the past 10 years.Dont just say "you'll get creamed" cause they are faster on K&M but i can find better presicion aiming on a Sixaxis than a i can K&M.So K&M aint really for me.

you played in tournaments and don't know about CSS cvars ? Might be a tournament in kindergarden!
If you're stuck at 60 frames, you have to disable vsync and set the cvar fps_max !

Even though the ps3 could be competitive by using K&M I doubt there's much demand for it.

Most console users are playing on the couch!
For serious K&M gaming you need a proper chair, table and headset.

I doubt a lot PS3 users are going to make this "sacrifices", cause it's uncomfortable.

I don't mind the "feature" but it comes with another disadvantage!
On a pc you can cheat or at least tweak your configs, on the ps3 you (hopefully) can't.

So ps3 users should avoid pc users!

But trading in crossplay in exchange for a cheat-free game is a simple decision, believe me!
