Forums - Gaming - SoulCalibur IV Secret Move-Lists?

Just wanted to know for those who have this game be it on the 360 or PS3, have any of you noticed there are secret moves in this fighting game thats NOT list'd in the moves and combos list?

I've used many moves not shown in the in-game manual anyone else tried any of these rare moves?

Nothing? really?

I guess i'm the only SC fan around today...

you have to go in to practice mode, and from there after you hit pause you will see an option called "movesets"--or something like that at least. It tells you all the combos you might want.

I had a little trouble finding them too, but remembered where they were from my days of SC2.

lol, poor soulcalibur. :P

And yeah i know, but if you keep tinker'n with certain styles there are moves that are not listed and look UNREAL, some look like they were pulled right outta final fantasy.

Yes, every character has 'just frame' moves not listed in the move list. This was done deliberately for some retarded reason.

Go to the above for discussion, movelist anaylist and other sundries, including the missing' just frames' moves.

See!! knew it! Thanks for the heads up Mibu. I noticed it with Yun's and Tira's Styles they both have really over-powered non-listed moves. wtf?! O_O

Never noticed this at all. Interesting.

also: SC is my favourite (traditional) fighting game series. Between one of my friends and I, we own all five titles in the series (I have SC (both DC and XBLA editions), SCII GC, and SCIV 360, he has SB, SCII PS2, and SCIII). =D

^- Nice glad to see there are atleast SOME SCIV fans here @ VG. :P

I recently started playing through SCII again. I found out all my savegames were erased from my memory card, so I went back through and had to replay many of the games.

So far, I've only picked up LoZ:OoT(MQ), LoZ:WW, and SCII.

Weapon Master feels a lot easier than it did back then... I don't remember beng able to play through it so quickly. Looks like I'll have to try it again on a harder difficulty. Also, switching from an Xbox 360 controller for SC and SCIV, then using a GCN controller for SCII feels really weird. I ended up mapping both the shoulder buttons for the basic throws (B+X & B+Y) because it was just too awkward trying to do a throw with that giant A button in the middle. Once I remapped it though, the controls became fantastic. =)

Man I love these games. =)

^- lol you had II on GCN to? same here, it where i started SC. but the controls...to this day were always broken on the ggamecube version. -_-
