Most people never even heard of it. Mainly those are Nintendo Fan/Wii owners.

I started a thread alot said they never even heard of it. They saw MH3 at like what they saw.

or maybe some people never even heard of Monster hunter game, and saw the wii version first, i didn't even knew about the existence of MH franchise before i saw the wii version, the franchise is virtually unknown in my part of the world.

i hate to say this but its because of its switch to wii.

Always been slightly interested in it, due to its success on the PSP, in Japan specifically. With the incredible sales of (i think it was) 2nd Gig I became more interested it. Now it has an entry on the Wii, and I own a wii, so I get the chance to play it if it heads west.

oh no you had a little misunderstanding. What im complaining about is that people who have played the game and didn't even give it a chance by playing for only 2 hours, and not taking it online who complained about the first one now seem to be like "Yay MH love!"

I' am also complaining about people with ignorance who claimed it to be pokemon which would be agreeing with your point, yes i can see that, but im just more upset at them for not looking further into the game instead of looking at the name and thinking....oh pokemon. It however doesn't explain why all of a sudden a massive amount of people actually looked at gameplay and went wow.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad i will have more people to slay a beast with, it's just like all of a sudden everyone did the flip-flop. To "oh i don't care for it" to "oh i can't wait"

It's not that we didn't know about it (lulz, teh Internets exists), it's just that we couldn't play the games.

People pretend that games on other platforms don't interest them.

Xbox fans like to bash MGS, but as soon as there's a slight possibility that it might come to their console, all is forgotten. The Conduit is the most anticipated upcoming game among Wii fans, but apparently, 360/ps3's huge selection of shooters does nothing for them.

well i was oblivious to most console games last gen, i was mostly PC gamer, i bought GC and PS2 at 2005 and 2006 respectively
