Will they announce anything gaming related.

Arguably anything to do with multimedia these days is related to the PS360 and Wii in some competitive way.

Panasonic has shown a 3d Tv, gaming in goggles

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

In a weird way, it's funny to watch these tech shows at this time... For every new gadget they show, I'll be thinking "how many people are really going to buy this stuff in 2009...".

4:22PM So it's official, the VAIO P will be $900. That's not... cheap.

4:20PM We've already seen the VAIO P flipping around on the screens outside the theatre. Clearly Sony is ready to break this one out.

4:19PM Some folks in the back just ripped off their shirts and starting "sphering" with a pair of glowsticks. It's pretty ravey.

4:16PM We're inside! Some serious, serious trance happening in here. It's like 1999 all over again.
________

Like 1999....this means a new invention THE PLAYSTATION PHONE!

Lookie who's here!

Is there a webcast stream?
