Level-5's White Knight Chronicles is heading for release in North America, CEO Akihiro Hino confirming that the Japanese RPG, a PS3 exclusive, is being readied for Western markets.

No European debut is mentioned yet, but Hino's affirmation that the game will reach North America makes a continental launch much more likely.

The role-player hit Japan on Christmas eve and has been going down well with local gamers so far.

White Knight Chronicles is a fairly high-profile release, which has been heavily backed by Sony, so its no surprise that releases elsewhere have been reiterated.

That is great news, I was almost tempted to buy the Japanese Version.

Great news! Here's hoping that the game makes it over to the EU sometime soon after the US launch (if not at the same time as that would be better as we always seem to get the raw end of the deal due to all the damn languages)

I KNOW it was coming west dammit! The question is when! And boo @ no EU announcement.

Considering that it is nearly literally impossible for a big budget PS3 game to turn a profit in Japan alone, this has "no duh" written all over it.

look at the games grfx n so on...its not exactly very polished or anything..
