Killzone 2 is a great game, theres no doubt about it so its the perfect vehicle for this experiment.
The premise:
My idea is this, treat the game as an invitation to others to come to your side of the fence. Don't use the game and don't let other people use the game to bolster their E-penis credentials. Use it instead to increase the friends list on your PS3 and maybe launch a campaign to have the limit raised to more than 100. You can stop trolls dead in their tracks and have a good laugh at the same time! 
The practice:
Every post about Killzone 2 should come with an invitation, "Add me to PSN". Tell people to try the game. Every post responding to a troll should come with the same invitation. You do not need to defend this game, don't bother even responding to trolling directly just say "Add me to PSN" because the game doesn't need to be defended as it speaks for itself. There is no trolling comment in existance that can't be shot down with those four words.
Why?:
If you value this game then you should not let others pursue a negative agenda with it. There has been too much negativity going on, too many people who enjoy these forums without trolling have suffered at the hands of the trolls. Killzone 2 is probably the next big target its been four years in the making and you can already see the trolls warming up their guns for it. Defeat the trolls without becoming trolls yourself.
