Yes, quite a few, and quite often. The explosion in the popularity of anime during the mid to late nineties lead to an invasion of its parent format for many stories, most notably Naruto and Dragonball. Manga in the West isn't huge yet, but it's a booming industry and growing rapidly every year.

Edit: whoops, said anime and meant manga

I think it's sad that "Naruto" is considered good >.
Actually, the manga was pretty good. I liked the dragonball Z show better than the manga, however. Zoids was pretty good also.. And G Gundam. Gundam wing.. No so much.


But those days are behind me. (anybody want my 80 issues of shonen jump?)

WTF? Naruto manga rocks and the anime was great in JP...US version sucks ****

Shippuuden Anime sucks and the Manga isn't as cool now, but still above par


Naruto has a pretty good story with twists here and there and with an elaborate world and battle system.. XP

and...I agree..the Wii will eventually have something for everyone

It doesn't make sense... i like watching the Naruto shows only because of the side characters... the main characters annoy me...

what i can't figure out... is why apparently Naruto can't use his super kickass Dues Ex technique.

I mean sure... irreperable damage... great.

Why couldn't he just create a Shadowclone to do it then?

I went to a manga museum in Kyoto and the place was huge and amazing and had tons of international stuff. It was also packed with tourists of all ages, browsing and shopping. It's a worldwide cultural phenomenon, and video games are following suit. I can't wait for the video game museums (outside of the one at the Classic Gaming Expo, which is pretty sweet).

I love the fact that Astroboy, and several of Tezuka's later works showed more depth and emotion than ANY game created to date (including MGS4, sorry guys). He was able to weave stories that could be appreciated by everyone, from children to adults without resorting to traditional "mature" plot points (sex, gore, pointless philosophical ramblings that could have been pened by a college freshman).

He was a master in every sense of the word.
