What could it be?  I'm thinking it's the new Rathcet & Clank (it's set for Fall, and has to be announced sometime), but if could be something else.  After all, at the beginning of last year Sony announced not only Resistance 2, but also MotorStorm 2 and Siren: Blood Curse.

I personally am really looking forward to the next Ratchet and Clank as ToD was fantastic and the replay value with the weapon mods and armor was just so much fun!

If you ask me, it's either the next Ratchet and Clank or Team ICO's game. Or an entirely new IP. It says "In the coming weeks", isn't GDC pretty soon?

And whatever it is, it could very well be part of their holiday lineup. As you said, Sony announced Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2 and Siren and then released them in the same year. Yet they still get flack for revealing games years in advance

I'm hoping it's something more exotic than R&C: Next.

The secret BBC game? Tears of Blood? TrIco? Jak 4?

^It could very well be Tears of Blood. I first heard about that game almost a year ago, I wonder when Sony will announce it.

Word is SCE will have a larger presence at CES this year than years past.  An announcement there would jibe with the mention of LA in the scan.
