Still I think the thread title is misleading and should've been worded different, seece. What did you expect when you put: "Kojima" AND "Xbox Hint" in the same sentence? I'm not saying you had bad intentions here. However, just pay close attention to how you word things, if you don't want to summon "fanboys".

After reading that, I have no clue how you take that to mean he's developing for 360. I'm not saying he won't...just assuming that's what he meant is stupid, it doesn't hint at it in the least. All it hints at is what everyone has been saying for a long time - Japanese developers are falling 'out of touch' with the global gaming market..and he wants to correct that for his team at least. How you take that to mean he's super-pro-360 now is beyond me.

Again, I'm not saying he isn't..but you people assume way too much..and so do the idiots who write these stories.

No third party publisher should ever go exclusive to a platform nowadays. Exclusives are going to the system holders. Going exclusive is leaving money on the table.

That why I really believe that the 3rd party publishers should really turn up the heat on the console makers and start standardize the basic tech put in the consoles. Minimal ram, so many core processors at least a certain minimal speed, internal and external storage limit. Stuff like that, so developers and publishers are not racking their brains and resources trying put games out on the various consoles.

Yes, I saw that. But like I said, I'm not going to jump on your case because I have 0 proof that your intentions were in any way, malicious. However, I would not be suprised to see Sony fans/"fanboys", jump all over this thread and attack. With how things currently are, the fans are in serious defense mode and MGS4 is the Playstation's crown-jewel non Sony Published 3rd party exclusive, besides Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and they don't want Xbox fans hammering them about another Sony exclusive jumping ship. Any sign of it happening, drives the fans of either side crazy, hence forum wars. So that's all I was getting at, while trying not to jump on you too much =)

 

You know I could care less what you think about my "intentions" when I read the artical I didn't even think MGS4 and you know this is posted in the Microsoft forum??

I don't see how people can read that as wanting to head to the X360. I think it just says, hey we are open to anything. For all we know, they could start putting serious support in for the Wii, or go multiplatform and make all their games for all 3 systems. I guess since the Wii has almost 50% marketshare the'll be heading to Wii doesn't compete with anyone the only other option is the X360




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
