Well, Dark Cloud 1 and 2 were both released in November in Japan. DC 1 saw American release in May whereas DC 2 released in America in Feburary.

 

November to May is the exact same timeline as December to June. Rogue Galaxy took a similar amount of time to localize - not to mention that Level 5 will probably polish the online (voice chat and all) before the American release.
