Take lemon or lime skin, cut it into olive like shapes and let the pieces marinate in a solution of 2 parts red wine vinegar and 1 part balsamic vinegar for at least 12 hours in the fridge.

He can't just take 'em out because the olives give the burgers texture... I mean it really depends on the recipe but usually vegetarian non-soy/tofu recipes use olives or mushrooms for meat like texture.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
yeah, I'd go with jalapeños, but then again I'm a jalapeño freak.. I put them and onions on just about everything.

Sorry I only got my cooking skill up to 150, so I don't have the proficency for Veggie Burgers. BTW Did yu get the recipe in Arathi Highlands or did yu have to go to Kalimdor to get it?

No, I got it from a quest in Crawler's Nest. And how the hell did you get a skill of 150, what items did you use!?
I made a shit-ton of Omelettes. Raptor eggs drop frequently in Wetlands.
/LOL
but actually I think my cooking skill is really at 211 on my main (58 Priest) I'm not sure I canceled my account back in June, I've been wanting to go back but I feel I won't have the time for it. You knoe, night shift + married life and all.
My co-worker said it took him a balls age to get from 70-72. I dunno, unless I find an active guild that wont require me to play at night (noobs chance in DM on that one) I don't think it will be worth my while.

My wife, who is a superchef, finally wandered over, and I showed her the recipe. She said the olives are only in that recipe to balance out the artichoke flavor, so if you want you could take out artichokes too, but that would probably be too sad, so she recommends either replacing the olives with green peppers, or just not worrying about replacing them at all and just skip them and you'll be fine.

You knoe ghost has a point there, perhaps its better to skip them rather than substitute. If you want still want a presense or something you may try marinating the patties in a vinegarette or with olive oil "marinade".
