But if 90 plus % of games are playable on 2 systems youre competing.

If 5%  of games are playable youre not imo

and how many hundreds of games where on the PS2 that weren't on the others that gen.  And your way out of line on that.  So your saying that the Wii must have like a huge shit ton of exclusives and 360/PS3 have none.

 

Quit crying that one system is doing good and others not so good.  Its not like it affects you at all, are you a big stockholder.  Has a game you liked been canned or moved to the oh so inferior Wii and thus unplayable.  If only it was on the PS2 then you could play it, but the Wii makes all games worse.

 So now you are saying the DS and PSP are not competing? What about the PS2, Xbox, and GC? PS2 had a shit ton of exclusives that neither the GC nor the Xbox got. Were they not competing with the PS2 now?

Yes , me, I can answer those questions: YES, it is totally justifiable comparing them, STOP CRYING BECAUSE YOUR FAVORITE CONSOLE IS NOT THE ONE WITH THE BIGGEST SALES.

I really dont have a favourite console

If and when third parties prove me wrong I will gladly buy games for my Wii(I have one btw) until then I will reserve judgement.

I don't know why we compare them either. The 360 and the PS3 can't even handle a true next-gen gaming experience like Wii Play. Those caveman consoles don't have IR pointers, HAHAHAHALOLLOLOLOLOLOlulz.

Why wouldn't I compare it? The Wii's price is comparable to the other two consoles on the market (more so to the 360). Wii games are similarly priced to the other two consoles on the market. It's in the same market. If I want to play a video game, I can buy one for the Wii, the 360, or the PS3. Until the Wii is classified as a garden tool, a learning aide, or a sex toy, it's a video game console. Because of that, it will be compared to other video game consoles.

What about the gameplay of MGS4 can't be done on the Wii? I want specifics, not assumptions.

Of course they should be compared to each other, the all gaming consoles targeting this same audience and offering similar type of entertaiment. But such comparisons have to take into the account characteristics of each piece of Hardware (there is no point comparing graphical capabilities of HD twins and the Wii).

I don't understand this either. obviously the graphics would be downgraded and you may not have as much stuff going on onscreen but I can't really see a reason for any game not to be ported to the Wii.

Even Crysis the king of graphics could probably be played though it would probably look awful.
