Does anybody know if the new 160 and 80g ps3 have the fan test feature?

Is the 160g harddrive the same spec as the old ones 5400 rpm and 8 megabytes cache?

don't do it man,,,sony said it could hurt the console.

^^^^no,,,it's like holding a button for certain amount of time (or flipping the console upside down)then the fan goes into the highest speed and pressure out all the dust or something like that.


Sony said don't do it cause it might be more harmful than beneficial.

no it was a feature on the 40g were u would hold the power bottun or somthing  youtube shows u how excatly to do it but wen done the 40g ps3 fans will go on at a high rate of speed in my opinion cleaning out the insides of the ps3 don't think it's bad to do on 40g's though i quess that's another question

good for me i have the na 60g with B/C so i can't do it just wondering if anybody knows if it works on the new 80g and 160g and since there is a 160g hdd now did sony up the rpm or cache on it or is it the same  5400 and 8mb
