I just came out with the thought:

 

Someone is a fanboy from a certain brand because he can't afford more than one item of a specific brand.

 

"My mercedes is better than your bmw"

If the person that stated this could afford a BMW to join his Mercedes he wouldn't talk this!!

 

"Wii is better than blabla" , "No it's not"

 

If people just could afford all the 3 consoles would they still being fanboys?

 

P.S - I personally think that people that doesn't own any console are the worst fanboys...

I will get my second Xbox360 before I get a PS3, just because I love my Xbox360 and I want to play in my bedroom. I could afford a PS3 though, but there is still not one single game that appeals to me.

So if you consider me as a fanboy, your theory is wrong.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Owing all 3 only reduces the level of fanboyism, but its always there, my brother in law owns all 3 but is a sony/nintendo hater big xbox fan boy, loves to bash the wii and ps3 even thou he owns them and has games for them, it stems from the fact that he only owned the Xbox last gen, you may find that most people at a certain point could only own one system ( usually at a young age ) and at that point there hate/love for consoles began ! i myself could not afford all 3 till this gen lol.

AM A FANBOY CAUSE I HATE THE CONTROLLERS ON XBOX AND THE WII BUT I DO HAVE ALL 3 SYSTEMS JUST CAUSE I CAN AFFORD TO...FIGHTERS ON ANY OTHER CONTROLLER BUT A SONY...JUST A WASTE.....TRY PLAYING MORTAL KOMBAT VS DC ON XBOX CONTROLLER ....SO NON RESPONSIVE

I have my own reasons and I'm sure it applies to others here

- Fanboy due to living with girlfriend/wife

Not many of us can get away with owning multiple consoles. Although, buying a Wii with an HD console is not much of a problem.
