DQ has always been more popular than FF in Japan. Throw in the amount of DSs in circulation and this makes total sense. Im surprisedit didnt happen early.

Even though it is not the #1 anticipated title in Japan anymore, Final Fantasy XIII will still sell a lot in Japan on the PS3. That's why the PS3 version will sell more than the 360 version, that and the series more popular in Japan than US.
