Most games from any genre/sub-genre gets overshadowed. What I'm stricly talking about is the quality of the games, nothing else (I don't even know why you brought up sales). But I don't think they'll flop because Strategy games are one of the cheapest genres to develop for (and most being made on PC is another plus for cheapness). |
was not bringing up sales just the fact that people either never heard of them or never gave the game a chance because there were too many games out at the same time.
Yeah, Little King's Story, Pikmin 3, Play on Wii Pikmin, and the Overlord game for Wii add up the total.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
@ Simulacrum
Anno looks like Age of empres,so I hope its good.
LOL. Obviously you didn't play Anno. It eats AoE for breakfast.
NO year will end up being "Year of the RTS" until someone is able to get RTS games to work right on consoles, and have them selling the way FPS titles sell on consoles now. As far as the list of games, they do look promising. They aren't all what would call RTS though. If Empire is like the other Total War series, then the map is turn-based and the battle is real time. If the Anno series is considered an RTS, then Simcity would be considered hat also.
There is only STARCRAFT 2, the rest are just wannabees!
Seriously though, I will probably only pick up SC2 and Halo Wars for my 360 next year.....other than that, I shall wait for some reviews (from RTS enthusiasts) not web sites.....;).....I trust members here and friends more.
