I think you two meant to say Mononoke.  Other than that, amazing movie.  My favorite animated movie ever.  Second only to O Brother Where Art Thou for favorite movie ever.

 Overrated or not, is definetely better than Naruto, Death Note (actually pretty overrated), Bleach and all that shonen stuff.

I agree with torillian, make sure to watch Haruhi in it's aired version, It's more fun that way :)

IMO of course...

 

bah... Death Note is hardly over rated... the Manga was brilliant even if the anime isn't on the same level it's still heads over most crap.  As for Naruto the kiddie shit is over... Konoha is blown the fuck up and Kakashi may be dead... I'll admit that it seemed that Kishi lost track of the story for a while, but he's got it down right now.  The bad thing with the anime is the fillers... even if some are awsome (Sakura in towl and Hinata's dance at the water fall)

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

Summary:

Shirahama Kenichi is an average student who has earned the nickname "Weak Legs" from always getting bullied. One day he meets a cute girl named Furinji Miu who helps him build the courage to begin training at a mysterious dojo where she lives. Here Kenichi faces intense training from masters of many different martial arts styles as he attempts to become stronger.

 

This anime is realy funny, I can't remember the last time I lol'ed in real life watching anime. For like 5 minutes.
There are 50 episodes, each one is 30 minutes.

The anime gets even better towards the end.
