I liked the direction RE4 went the franchise but I want it to progress no further as it would end up another shooter, just with horror elements.

Also, I really hope Capcom makes a classic gameplay/style Resi for the Wii at some time...

You do realise that the gameplay in gears was inspired by RE4 not the other way around right?
