An In-Depth Resident Evil 5 Demo Graphical Comparison

The Resident Evil 5 demo looks stunning on both consoles. But when they're shown side-by-side, it appears one has a slight graphical edge over the other.

Dot50Cal over at The-Horror.com put together a great comparison gallery between the 360 and PS3 version of the Resident Evil 5 demo. The conclusion? The 360 version seems to be noticeably sharper looking and has more effects and shadowing.

Now remember, these are just demos, so nothing is final here. Don't go jumping to any conclusions.

360 looks better

Well, the textures do look sharper, which is weird (I know it's not on DVD yet, but still...).

Well, the 360 has it from my eyes....

360 version looks better. Just look at the textures.

If you follow the link it obvious the 360 version looks better.

What's the difference? Does it really matter? I mean I think that both games will sell pretty well. Who cares which console has the better graphics? It doesn't define which game will sell more. It obvious didn't work for the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. I honestly think that both of them look the same.

Seriously, I don't think it's always the system's fault. When developers can't do simple things such as this: http://www.the-horror.com/imagecompare.php?img=features/bh5demo/images/ps05.jpg&img2=features/bh5demo/images/xb05.jpg (first picture is 360 version, put your mouse cursor on top of the image for the PS3 version), you have to question yourself a bit (are they pushing the system enough, or are they just lazy when it comes to making a PS3 version of a same game?). :/

They both look great, can't wait to play it on nintendo's next system with IR controls.

The 360 version seems technically superior, but why the hell is it so green? I prefer the colors on the PS3 one.
