I could stop it from logging in as me without my password, and I could restrict internet use and mature game content, but I couldn't find a way to stop it from going to the XMB. Like somebody else said, just hide the cord or something.

Yeah I think thats what I got to do. There's constantly little kids running around my house and I had suspicions that they are using the system. I know it sounds selfish of me, but I don't want little kids around 8 years old using my ps3. I knew it was a mistake to get little big plant. lol Thanks.

So then why don't you do that?

Now, when you feel like confessing you may not know something about the PS3 (and that's not a bad thing, not everybody knows everything) have you tried setting the parental controls on everything?  That might get what you want.  They can turn on the PS3 so I guess your parents can still see the porn you have saved on it but nobody can play games or browse the internet.

little kids arround 8 can't reach things put in high places.... say like controlers....

I'm not a little kid to where I would have something to hide. It's just I don't want my stuff touched.

Just put a sign on it saying 'this is not a Wii or Xbox360', no one will go near it then!
