Forums - Microsoft - Xbox 360 Holiday packs! (Premium and Elite)

The bundle will include the system and it's accessories plus two games, Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. These images were discovered on a website Microsoft uses to market their products and while there was no pricing information available, the Elite image was clearly marked as "Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Value Bundle." Judging by the name, one can assume that this will be the Xbox's bundles available for the upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas shopping season. Unless of course they are saving it for Flag Day, which means we won't see it till spring of next year.

That Elite has my name all over it.

I'm waiting for one more price drop, but at the same time, I already have a list of games that I will be buying once I have a system. Forza 2 is near the top of that list.

Guesses as to what the prices will be?!

Just what MS needs

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

I wonder if the on the back it's written zephyr or falcon :)

Probably written somewhere.

Will VGC count the Forza + M:UA software as given away? I hope so. It'd inflate FM2's paltry numbers into something that it more deserves :)

Still though - this worries me that they might just introduce this bundle rather than another $50 pricedrop. They need that pricedrop ASAP.

However, if they did the $50 extra drop + games, that'd be so insanely sweet.

The problem with pack in titles is they are rarely the ones you would like to have, or the vast majority of people would like to have. That is why I usually prefer to see price cuts.

Personally I see this stimulating sales somewhat, but I also do not see it driving down sales till the holidays. How many gamers are going to hold out for a Marvel and a Forza. They might have for a more recent popular title, but not for these two. I think they should have went with a Madden/Crackdown myself. Games that are accessible to the general public, and they would shine to the consumer.

There's absolutely no way that they would of went with Madden as a pack-in title. By the holidays, sales of M08 would be going down, and wouldn't be a good, cheap "must have" title.

I DO agree with crackdown - a X360 + Forza + Crackdown would of been just about the best 2 games you could get for packin games. That'd be like the Wii getting rid of Wii Sports for Zelda:TP and Super Paper Mario :)
