OP- well they'll probably never admit because if they did they'd be admitting it right now. There are at least 5-10 games exclusively on every 7th gen console right now that are must have for any long time gamer. By not owning one of them you are missing out on those 5-10 games.
It's just for some those 5-10 games aren't necessities to play currently or even later. But they should still recognize it over bashing senselessly with no purpose.
