What would that mean for the DMC series and God of War III?

Was the first one good?

Well, alot of people didn't like it because DMC 1 so-called overshadowed it back in the PS2 days, but it was FAR more innovative then DMC 1 and it took major skill to play it.

It was the hardcore Action RPG of the early 2000's.

Never heard of the game tbh, and i would imagine that a lot of others would be the same.

If the game was PS3 exclusive (i would imagine PS360) then it would have to be pretty impressive for people to take notice since it would basically be a new IP.

the first one is a fantastic game , according to me,,,, and its story and cutscenes were gorgeous, as well as its soundtrack,,, i dont think there will be another one, since the first bombed hard ! be if there is a sequel coming for PS3,, i will be more than happy

Yeah lol, glad theres another person around here who enjoyed this monster of a game for the early 2000's.

But yeah, there were Strong rumours in late 07 and early to mid 08 of a sequel coming to the PS3 or PSN as an HD version.

The game would lose out on a lot of sales if it went PS3 exclusive. XBox 360 version of the game would sell around the same amount of PS3 version of the game based on DMC 4 sales data.

^- Again this is a "What if" thread... besides if it does happen it'll be an HD-Remake for download or a multi-plat full blown sequel. :P

Won't go PS3 exclusive, especially with Capcom's stance.
