does it work with dvd also or only blu ray? it says "sony playstaion blu ray disc remote" O.o
Works with everything that you put in it. So that includes DVD, CD even Games... But that's not really advised

The remote is great btw! Much more user-friendly then using a controller when in the settings menu of a BRD.
THE NETHERLANDS
The remote is a must buy for anyone that is planning to use their PS3 for movies, the only gripes i have with it are that it would have been better if it had a L-ion battery like the controllers and thus was able to be charged via the console also and if it had buttons that lighted up as it is almost impossible to see when in the dark lol
Other than these little gripes it is a great remote (as good as a remote can be anyway lol)

I feel the same, but let me add:
It should be a universal remote too, like the 360 one...
Other than that, it's great!
