Well, thanks ever so for all the responses. I guess I'll hold on to my PS3 for awhile longer. Maybe someday I'll be able to find a job again, and then I'll be able to buy a DS or Wii (although I probably do need to find a way to get a ds before the dsi comes out...I like bc).

Cool, keep it. Just save your money for a Wii or DS. Considering you want a Wii. Get the Wii it has the software you want. But consideirng it you was to get rid of the PS3, trust me you would want it back. You would have missed out on so much software. I did that 2 times. I bought a used 60GB PS3 exchanged it for a 360, then realized I wanted the PS3 back so I exchanged the 360 for a new 80GB PS3 and then bought a Xbox 360 Arcade a month later. I liked both consoles. And look I have all three this generation.

Just save up for a Wii and keep the PS3, you would be thankful for this decision in the future :)

i did just that. i sold/traded my ps3 when sony allowed ffxiii go multiplat...i sold/traded my ps3, 1 sixaxis controller, 1 gh3 original guitar controller and about 8 bd games.

i got a wii with 2 wii-motes nunchuck set, 1 3rd party guitar controller and about 15 games or so for the ps3 itself and i got an xbox360 with 10 games or so for the money i got for the games and the guitar controller...

what i'm saying is, if you do sell your ps3, make sure you get what its worth..or do what i did and get more for less hahaha!!

You should try trading it in at Game Rush if you got one. They are the gaming stores next to Blockbuster. They offered me more money when I traded in my junky PS2.

why would you sell your HD next gen console that cost you at least 400 dollars for a portable that has not even close to half of what the PS3 offers
