Forums - Gaming - Should I trade in my PS3 at GameStop?

Also, Ken Kutaragi stated that further into development of the system, they would be taking out the PS2 hardware parts and replacing that with software bc for PS2 games.  I need to find the link for it, but that may take me a while.

Where is that room... and why is it pitch black?

Seems... ridiculiously photoshopped.

Oh, here is the link:

http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2006/11/09/theres-a-ps2-hiding-in-the-ps3-to-guarantee-100-backwards-compatibility-for-8181-ps2-games.htm

And a quote

Ken Kutaragi, the PlayStation’s daddy, did close by saying the EE and GS will be “removed before long”, indicating they want to shift toward the compatibility of all 8,181 PS2 games (as of September 30, 2006) secured by the emulator in a relatively short period of time.

Coupled with the picture, it does hold some weight in truth.

Sell it online, and get yourself a Wii and maybe even a used DS!

Anything can seem ridiculously photoshopped if you don't want to believe it.

This is about 10 minutes of work (including learning how to do vanishing points) and I'm bad at photoshop

And I'm not saying PS2 games won't come to the PSN, I don't care, I'm just saying anything is easily photoshopped.

(and I know my example is pretty easy to tell it's a fake, but again, I'm bad at Photoshop and I only took 10 minutes including the time to learn how to do vanishing points)

Hey, that's not a bad photoshop job really for only a few minutes work!

Id get a DS if you want to really trade, as posted before really do some research before you trade, you dont want to kick yourself in the ass.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Ding ding ding.

Also... why wouldn't I want PS3's to get software backwords compatability?

Unlike some people i'm not a fanboy.

I simply believe the most reasonable outcome of events rather then base my beliefs on a weird favortism to a company that doesn't give a damn about me.

Eh, I like my photoshop better. Although the text in the description isn't quite right.
