Is it possible that the Achievement was put in before Microsoft closed Ensemble, and simply wasn't removed in light of the close?

Idk. I'd guess Achievements are normally put in at the end, so maybe my above suggestion doesn't work. :/

Not sure about a sequel tbh. Surely only DLC would be necessary if they wished to build on the Halo Wars universe. A new disc seems like overkill if you only want to introduce a new class or vehicle.
