By the way, some guy from shacknews talked to a Valve guy, which said to him that the holiday sales have been "Insanely Successful". I like the sound of that.

Meh i don't like they switched over to euros.. for multiple reasons. 1. I don't use euro, and 2. My currency is currently very strong against the dollar so i could save a ton of money if they were still using that system.

It's hard not to buy anything (i looked at this sale a few days ago) but i doubt i will. I recently ordered a bunch of ps3 games from england (currency + sale = freakin cheap) so it should suffice.. unfortunately none of them has arrived yet XD

yeah, all EA games on Steam only have Steam as DRM. EA is learning.

Awesome sale, I just downloaded Bioshock, Audiosurf, X-Com: UFO Defense, Ultimate Doom and Doom II. What a steal for only $15.70.

I wonder how much the Steam sales increased Year-to-Year. We know Steam had a growth of 168% in 2007, and in 2008 there were ALOT of newcomers and some popular Steam-integrated games were released (L4D, FM2009, GTR Evolution) so I'm guessing between 100% and 150% increase compared to 2007.
