I enjoy FF games. Lucky me, i don`t have problems. =)

There are RPGs and there is FINAL FANTASY.

2009.04.30 - PS3 will OUTSELL x360 atleast by the middle of 2010. Japan+Europe > NA.


Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

FF isn't an RPG, it's a novel where you press a button instead of turning a page.

I'm saying this and I LOVE Final Fantasy.

I was going to make a comment about how you must not have played any other RPGs.  Then I noticed that you own TWEWY, Persona 3, Shadow Hearts, Lufia II and so on.  Thus, I can only conclude that you must be somehow delusional...

I like Final Fantasy IV and VI were definately the best when i also enjoyed VII, IX and X but not that much. What annoys me is constant production of spin-offs (CC, Dissidia etc. etc.) instead of focusing on making new interesting Ip's from Squarenix, when they do put effort they can still create a gem like TWEWY.

FF XII wasn't terrible but it was not a great game like it should be and im worried that FF XIII will only follow this trend.

You said the FF7 was a flop??? I stopped reading it there. It seems you dont like FF series overall. Maybe only the nintendo incarnations but nothing after that apparently!

i never said those are bad, those gave my a warm feeling, but ff is hot =)
