I think the "Home is a cash cow" thread should be revived.

And think, the home items aren't copywritten or anything. they don't spend money to get the items onto home, unlike spending money to get movies on the store.

I think that alot of the things in home are way overpriced. theres shirts that cost $2.00!!!, thats alot for a virtual shirt you will only wear a few times.

yeah but US$5 and 10 for an outfit dear good, is this going to be like star trek? a cult without explanation?? because i "played" home and dropped right after 30 min of wasted life, i only played 10mins really because i fell sleep waiting for the plaza to down load.

Home = easy money.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Advertisements. that far cry space ubisoft payed for, along with advertising their trailers. Red bull, Capcom, Konami, Namaco, and more all are paying sony for their own space in home and to advertise their products

the clothers is just one way to make money, the others being advertisments and sponserships. its the last two is why home is free cause its how sony will pay off the developement costs of home, and to make a little extra on it

here is a example of how they making $. everyone with a ps3 buys a summer house, cost 5 dolars, you get a apartment for free so its a personal choice to buy it.

18,000,000x5=$90,000,000

They need to update Home with more virtual spaces and more to do in those virtual spaces, Far Cry 2 space is crap, Uncharted space could be a lot better.....where's Warhawk place?

And not take away my rewards like they took away my Ice Breakers and echochrome awards, the jerks.

I miss my rewards as well...
