Sorry are you complaining about what you think is whining again, right after making a 'broken record' accusation? See the irony and hypocrisy there?

Anyway, nice to know one is right when rather than tackle the arguments presented people just accuse of whining instead. Shame that doesn't work in all walks of life "You killed a man" "Stop whining".

I didn't follow that.

Maybe if the tears stopped blurring your vision you'd make more sense.

@Kylie, didn't someone just mention that you don't need to buy the content to have it work? Optional content is bad @_@? The game they ship is already worth the price of admission in spades. This is what it is, additional content... Don't like it? Don't buy it ^_^ You can still play the levels of people who did buy the content, so you don't have to feel like Sony's raping your family while you sleep.

New switches too...

I kinda regret the fact that i'm getting this for christmas now.

This kind of stuff is ridiculious for a create a content game.

Indeed, I wish I was 12 years old again so I could be completely oblivious to Sony and MM ripping me off.

Eh, it's more that just most people haven't played this type of a game so they don't realize they are being ripped off because this stuff should already be inherent in the game.

Heck it's not even really a "Create a" game from the looks of it.

Just a platformer with a developed level creating tool... which is weird, since I was told this was supposed to be MORE advanced then FPS mod tools and the like... when it seems to be less so.

In a game who's main point is to "create shit" all the tools you need to create shit should come with the game.

I mean, the engine should be built.... so you can do... just about anything.

@Kaz, the tools they left you to begin with already let you create... almost anything :P I've seen some incredibly creative stuff from the game as is.

Instead of rushing another LBP, they're merely expanding on this one. I see no problem with that, esp considering the meat of the experience is from down loadable levels, meaning you probably have internet already to purchase an add-on. Sure it sucks that you have to buy more crap. But it's not like they shafted you with the game, they're just expanding it further. There's been a ton of RPG makers, but I won't complain about buying the first one and not having the options of the third o.O;;;

There have been tons of Platform maker games too... So can i complain that LBP lacks a lot of the stuff they do?

Also said platform makers allow you to make ANYTHING.  But... really anything, not a made up anything.

I've made a turn based RPG with one before.

You obviously can't make everything since this download has new switches.

@Kaz, oh you could probably still make it :P It might just take more creative thought ;) I don't know what the new switches do, but they probably just make things a ton easier.

And my case is proven.  Win.

'Rather than tackle the arguments'

No..you just want to make this thread all about you and why you're too cheap to pay $5.99 for amazing content.  You are whining.  There is no argument, because you're the only person who continuously brings up the fact that you don't want to pay for quality.  Wheres your argument?  You are a broken record..and saying you're a broken record and that you whine too much isn't a contradiction, because the broken record IS YOU WHINING.  Do us all a favor and stay out of LBP threads..sell the game, hell even get rid of your PS3 if it bothers you that much.  You want to complain about being nickle-and-dimed?  Go buy a 360.  No one who owns a PS3 or LBP sympathizes with you because you're too cheap to pay $5.99 for quality.  Oh, did I mention you're just being too cheap to pay for quality?

I've said it before..I would have paid $5.99 for a paintball gun..let alone the 6 levels and 100+ objects/stickers/etc that you get and the costume you get with it.
