I tried a couple of rpg games and couldnt get into them.

Oblivion was one I think.

Fable is the only RPG I ever managed to get into. So yeah, I think it's very good.

(I prefer the first game to the sequel though.)

I never liked Oblivion either.

I have heard good about ths game is it on Xbox originals by any chance?

I'm a PS360 owner but

If I had a PS3 only:

Gears 1 & 2
GTA IV DLC
Halo 3
Probably ToV

Dead Rising

If I had a 360 only:

Warhawk
Metal Gear Solid 4
Resistance series, but I'd be fine with Gears.
