Forums - Sony - Apparently PS3 owners really like their Diesel jeans

Man, that IS weird. :p I'd never pay for stuff like that.

Home = genius confirmed. More money than the video download service? Damn, that's impressive.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Reminds me of Maple Story. Anyone would pay for extra "wings" and "virtual wedding rings"...!

*What a pity...*

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Sad... just sad. Hopefully this is just from the early hype and sales drop off fast. I'd hate to see so many people wasting their gaming money on clothes rather than games.

The funny thing is that the same people probably would not buy it in real life.

Anyway Home is a cash cow for Sony.

(I hope MS will not do the same).

Good for Sonu I guess. I hope this stays innocent. I wouldn't want peoplke to be able to buy items, levels etc. in a (MMO)RPG.

and does anyone have any idea how much they had from their first week of video service?

Because that would give us a good idea of their "income" from home at this point...

Because if they only sold 1 video that first week, this isn't exactly impressive >_>

What does this tell us about the PS3's userbase? Is blowing money on crap you don't need in a virtual world hardcore or casual? I forget.

Free MMOs already do this sort of thing. This isn't anything new really. Sony is doing it to make a few bucks here and there.

I do know, people LOVE spending real money on virtual items. I used to do it, it wasn't a waste to me at the time.

  • 2010 MUST Haves: WKC, Heavy Rain, GoWIII, Fable III, Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Darksiders, FFXIII, Alan Wake, No More Heroes 2, Fragile Dreams: FRotM, Trinity: SoZ, BFBC2.
  • Older Need To Buys: Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Deadspace, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.
