Killzone 2 looks really good; the build that I played was beta but looked better than most retail games out in the market. The lighting is excellent; the characters are detailed with crisp and clear textures for the environment and the game is a visual treat. There is so much action taking place on screen that at times it can be overwhelming. I played the game with decent surround-sound and quickly realized that the sound of battle was loud and engaging. I'm really looking forward to the game for the audio-visual experience and I'm sure it will be listed among the very best in the category.
The full game will be out in February, so expect another preview very soon and a detailed review when the game is launched.
