Nah, some games on PS2 needed a special "system update" like Final Fantasy XII. I believe that if you don't download this before playing these games, well, you couldn't play them (on a backwards compatible PS3 that is).

Anyone, correct me if I'm wrong.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Correct, SHMUP
It is for games that require acces to the PS2 HDD (so that it instead directs to the PS3's HDD)

On a similar note, does anybody know where to find the patch for the ps2 network adapter disc on the PSN Store? I want to see if anybody at all is still on the original Killzone's servers.

Well, my friend, you've just educated my ignorant ass. I was wondering what the hell that was all about. I thank you.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Guidelines to understanding my train of thought:

  • THE METAL GEAR SOLID FRANCHISE IS THE BEST THING TO HIT THE PLANET SINCE THE PS3!! THUS, MGS FRANCHISE >> SLICED-BREAD.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always shove 1up mushrooms up Mario's ass.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always decimate Master Chief with a flurry of rocket launchers, shotgun rounds, and a 20 minute monologue.

I'm surprised the servers are even still up!

And one of the complaints usually levied against dedicated servers is that they might get shut down early.  xD

Not for Sony's games, I'll tell you that.
