I don't think so... I'm pretty sure it's just 2.1 stereo.

There is no 5.1 Dolby Digital. It is only stero. :(

I'd be happy to wait a minute or two for buffering to allow for streaming a higher quality image coupled with DD5.1.

I have a fairly decent home theater setup so I'll just stick with blu-ray and standard DVD until the streams get a little better.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

The quality is DVD or slightly below, depending on time of day for me (sometimes I drop down to 2 bars, later at night it's back up to 4).

I'm happy with the service. I would like more selection but that will come in time. I don't need an HD feed if I'm watching something over the internet. Chances are, I'm not watching it for the "wow" factor at that point. I just want to see it. If I cared that much about it, I'd go buy a BD player and rent the disc.

They are currently working on a solution to stream 5.1 etc.

I output it to the fake 5.1 with my home theartre system and for the most part it work just fine especially watching TV series. I think it's silly to not used it because you can't get 5.1 on it.

I have catch up on so many movies and TV show that I would other wise would not have rent or let alone bought.

I wonder if MS is worry that Netflix is going to cut into game playing times on the 360 ...

I've been getting pretty clear quality with 4 bars. Even thought I have a good connection I pause the video right after it starts for about 30 seconds just to account for any momentary lapses. I don't like it when it runs through it's buffer and drops to a lower quality stream. I really love it for old TV shows and movies that I'm not sure I'd want to wait for by mail.

I give this thread a 9.3.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

Nope lovein the Netflix on streaming on my 61', movies look great.

Wish there was more HD vids, but i'm sure many will come.
