No real official news about the studios closing down has come out as far as I have seen. Probably is bad for them anyway, these kind of rumors often has truth to them, but it feels like everyone jumps the gun before they should.
Just look at Interplay, they got shut down, but survived and are slowly trying to come back. It ain't over until it's over.
Studios might survive on skeleton crews, get sold, get saved or have members of it creating a new studio. Anything can come out of this and it might take a long time.
