Three weeks ago the big 3 were at #2,3,4 on my most wanted list. Now with all the Anti-hype, Prime is #1
With the SMG news, this it #2
and with the single player stuff, Brawl is #3.

I can't believe Nintendo dominated my most wanted list. Haze was #1 now it is #4.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

 Lol, are you referring to the IGN article about Prime? Matt pretty much got it spot on in that article, with so much hype for Smash and Mario and none for Metroid.

of those 3 games my list is the reverse of yours, though i think BWii might come above MP3. strange really, i was kind of expecting buying similar franchise games to last gen on GC, but i have never had a mario platformer till my recent VC purchase of SM64, so galaxy will be my first hard copy mario platformer, MP3 will be my first metroid game. and i have never even played a smash bros before.... add to that i didnt have original BW [never had a war game] and that means my top 4 wanted games are totally new to me.

Just to clarify, ONLY the second player will be able to freeze enemies by pointing at them. This is the biggest addition a second player can bring, and it looks to be significantly helpful for the parts I have seen it used.

Edit: Also there is a gameplay video floating around out there where the second player is able to completely nuetralize fireballs flying at mario, not just freeze them, but completely brush them away as in gone and done for good.  I suspect the extent of the second player's abilties might be a bit more than we know quite yet, and it could end up being more than just simply a gimmick for a non-gamer to help.  Even if the help is minor, I have gone through M64 and Sunshine a few times with friends trading off on stars so it would be kewl to have both people doing something the whole time.



PS - Am I the only one who prioritizes their most wanted list by release date? Right now MP3 is riding the top since it is next to come out, but there are a number of PC games coming out soon that I am stoked about too!

i think everyone prioritises to an extent, for instance the next zelda would be top of my list, and if including properly announced games Mario kart could be second or third, but as it has a release time of spring 08 [i think] in the US its a long way away from me getting it in the UK.

Most wanted for me means the games I want most, not the games I can buy the soonest. If your anticipation increases the closer the game gets and therefore makes it the most wanted, fine.

some of my most wanted games are not even announced. still i want em badly.

grandmaster192, I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but there are 120 stars but not all of them need to be found to complete the game (ie. finish the story)
