You do realize that it outsold it's install base by 50% in 2008?

It ended 2007 at 19M.  In 2008 it will have sold 28M while being supply constrained the entire year.

X360 : 45 million
Ps3 : 33 million
NDS : 135 million
PSP : 60 million

That's what you said last year. You also predicted the Wii would end 2008 at 32M sold or something like that...

...For the Wii to sell 80m units it has to increase sellthrough by 27% next year. Do you honestly think it can't do that?

And you expect the PS3 to nearly sell its entire install base in 2009...

Also, there seems to be a typo in your predictions, you have the lower bound for the Wii at only 58 million, or only about 10 million ALL year next year. Obviously you meant to say 68 million. You can thank me later.

Wii- 58-70million

PS3(depends on price) 29-35million

Xbox 360- 32-37million

No offense Leo but why don't you look at the numbers for once and make a logical prediction insted of what you want to happen?

Xbox 360 - 32 - 37 / Really Leo? I mean come on, its just hit mass market price and will sell beyond 11.5 million this year .. you expect it to sell 4.5 -9.5 next year, despite it going into 2009 much stronger than going into 2008?

Wii - 58 - 70 / 12 - 24 million? the console that shows no signs of slowing down, that will sell 25+ million this year and go into its third year (the year consoles supposively hit their peak) and sell less than this year?

PS3 - 29 -35 / 9.5 - 15.5 ..... you have 360's minimum at 4.5, the Wii at 12 but the PS3 at 9.5?

These are not predictions those are what your dreams are made of and come end of 2009 you will look like a fool, not MAYBE, you will look like a fool because you can kid yourself all you like those predicitons are way off.

I'm not going to post updated predictions, but I'm not submitting my sig either. I'm just tagging this topic so I can read through it when new posts are put up.

Leo-J - how about you stop giving approximate ranges and choose a number LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAS, so we can put it into the table.

Giving ranges like you have is hardly making a prediction, it's sitting on the fence.

Funny that even doing that you can still be so wrong like you were in 2008. Your PS3 prediction will barely make it to the bottom range on 19mil and the 360 will end up well over 26mil by the end of the year.
