Forums - Gaming - Wii wins Megaman Poll

Providing a link would've been way too much trouble, now wouldn't it? -_-

I might be interested in this possible new game if it offers anything new to the same old formula. Not holding my breath honestly.

MM games have really gone downhill since the SNES days. That being said, if they can pull off a sweet 2D adventure, it might be worth a look at.

And this doesn't really confirm any games for the Wii. As far as I know, Megaman will probably stay on the portables.

Consoles I Own: NES, SNES, N64, GC, GBA, DS, X360, Wii

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)
Nintendo ID: Mako91                  3DS code: 4167-4543-6089

Don't expect anything new when it comes to gameplay.

Of course the wii won.

Why would they make another DS MM, there is already like 10!

There's 3 if you count Star Force. Not really sure when 3 = 10, then again my schools weren't the best so maybe they taught me addition wrong. ;D

That said, the next Mega Man if it's on Wii would probably be Legends 3, so all those people moanign about rehashing would have nothing to whine about since there aren't that many Legends games to rehash to begin with, not to mention that series hasn't seen a new installment in almost 10 years. Wiimote is almost perfect for the 3D running and gunning in that series.

EDIT: On the subject, Mega Man doesn't go "downhill." It flunctuates between its individual series and in the series themselves.

The only Megman's i've enjoyed since the NES days were Megaman 7 and Megaman Battle Chip Card Challenege.

Still, might be good. I remember i was going to look into that Megman RPG but someone said it sucked.

Holy crap! I just checked a few of the Megaman articles on Wikipedia, and was pretty shocked by how many games there are.

First there was the original series that consisted of 8 games.

Then the Megaman X series of 13 games.

Then Megaman Legends with only 3 games.

Then Megaman Battle Network with a respectable 20 titles if you count the ones for cellphones etc, and "only" 14 if you just take into account the ones for the GBA, GC and DS.

Finally, there's also Megaman Zero with 4 games, Megaman ZX with 2, and Meganman Starforce with 1 game, but 3 different versions (list Pokemon).

I honestly care less about Capcom every day. -_-

Imagine this :

Megaman Prime Wii :

Metroid Prime 3 shooting controls
Godfather Wii close range combat controls

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

That's actually less than most people make it out to be. Considering the age of the series and some of the recent games not being made by Capcom, I was expecting more.

Though I'm pretty sure some spinoff games are missing.
