Majel Barrett, widow to Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, voice of The Computer in all Star Trek iterations with a computer voice, actress portraying Lwaxana Troi, mother of Deanna Troi, and producer behind ensuring Roddenberry's Andromeda and Earth: Final Conflict made it to the screen, died today in her Bel Air home after complications with leukemia. She was seventy-six.

Man Andromeda sucked.

It was basically Hercules the Legendary Journies in space.

Earth: Final Conflict was pretty decent though.

Yeah I never liked Andromeda either.

Still, though. Ensuring that Gene's dreams became reality is an amazing thing for her to do. I respect her a lot for that.
