the volume change in eternal darkness. my tv had the same display for volume so i totally tripped balls

well i was convinced to buy a gameshark just for the very purpose of reviving her. none of the crazy ass internet rumors worked (i tried them all.. damn, i even played through the game a good ten more times just to be sure).

 I think I'm right there with ya.....prolly played through at least 5 times and have still not played any game more than I played that one....makes me wanna play through again

I cried when Sega went out of console business...does that count as a "holy shit" moment?

watching professional gamer playing Counter Strike or Warcraft 3.

 

I really liked all the dialogues in Monkey Island. The whole series was a "holy shit" moment.

playing halo and driving the warthog to escape was really great aswell.

And finding maria in GoW2 was shocking.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

either of three things:

1.) you didn't use a component cable or an hdmi cable. an hdtv won't help you if you don't have those.

2.) you need to get your eyes checked.

3.) the tv store cheated you and actually sold you a dud.

4.) you haven't set the new hd resolutions in your console.

i think it's 1. but in case you did everything properly, it's 2.

1) Using HDMI
2) Not the case, i have new glasses and the rest of the games look great.
3) As in number2, the rest of the games look great.
4) The resolutions have been set and both games were being played in 1080p.

The games are just not very good looking to begin with and i feel thats the major problem.  GT5p, Uncharted, bioshock and R2 saw very nice improvements.
