Diablo 3! Yes I think that game is the perfect console exclusive game to counter the release of GOW3. Why do I think that?
1. Well, we already know Blizzard is eventually going to bring their games to console
2. We already know the porting PC games to the 360 and vice versa is very easy and cheap.
3. And I Blizzard had mentioned that if they are going to bring Diablo 3 to consoles they would like to make it cross platform online compatible http://www.gamegrep.com/news/11204-diablo_3_exclusive_to_pc_and_360/. And Shadowrun already demostrated that it is possible.
4. And lastly, we all know Microsoft needs exclusive console games to counter all those potential PS3 exclusives in 2009. What better way to counter GOW3 than with Diablo 3.
5. With Diablo 3 added to the rumored Killer Instinct 3 and Forza 3, Mass effect 2, Halo Recon, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction, the 360 lineup should be able to hold its own in 2009.
Hey, if Microsoft can buy timed exclusive and throw 50 millions in DLC, why not Diablo 3.
