That is why I wish Rare still had a huge influence, Nintendo apparently doesn't want it to succeed, even with DKC1, Shiggy didn't like it, so apparently he got his revenge on it after Rare was sold.

 

 jungle beat is my favorite donkey kong game  and i thought dkc was kinda wack soo i am glad rare isn't workin on it any more

Wow, I disagree so much with that, it's amazing.

Also, do you honestly think that someone in Nintendo doesn't want a Nintendo game to suceed? I really doubt that, and espescially from Shigeru Miyamoto.

Back in the early '90s, when DKC1 wasn't out yet, he thought the game was just a graphics whore game with no gameplay.

Shigeru was completely wrong. DKC was one of the greatest platformers of all time!

DKC2 is the best platformer ever, it's perfect.

I know how he was wrong, it's just how looking back on it, he didn't like the game and it became a very great series XP
